Over
the last few weeks a group of BRC members have been
meeting on a Saturday morning for walks. These
walks range from 5 miles or so, up to about 10
miles depending how the fancy takes us.
We
try (if possible) to incorporate a stop at a
teashop and the group changes from week to week
depending on who is available. Many of us are not
running, or running very little due to injury etc
so the walks are a way of keeping fit and
maintaining contact with other club
members.
If
you fancy a walk in good company (the usual club
night insults/banter etc still apply), sampling the
local teashop fare (large chunks of carrot cake are
not compulsory but we dare you to resist!) and
generally enjoying the countryside, then join us
one Saturday morning soon.
Contact
Terry Simms on 07973968351 to find out more
or to check on the details for forthcoming
walks.
